Initiated by the German Brand Institute and judged by a high-carat jury comprising experts from the brand sector and brand science, the German Brand Award commemorates successful brand management in Germany. It discovers, presents and honours unique brands and brand-makers – elevating not only the winners, but also their respective sectors.
The German Design Council and German Brand Institute award prizes to the strongest campaigns, concepts and strategies of individual disciplines. The jury is made of up independent, interdisciplinary experts from business, academia, consultancy, service providers and agencies.
Following more than 1,250 cross-competition submissions from 19 countries, the experiential agency WOWing received a German Brand Award in the "Excellence in Brand Strategy & Creation" category for the innovative concept and development of the Google Pixel 2 – Retail Training Cube.
For the market launch of the Google Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL smartphones, WOWing developed a multipurpose training tool that allows retail staff to discover the USPs of the new Google smartphones in a fun and interactive way.
